Colony-Crest (10-0) @ Hanover (8-0)
Colony-Crest advanced into the round of eight with a 64-14 victory last Friday. It is their first appearance since 2012 this deep in the playoffs.
Nick Mcanulty, who took the reigns over last year after a 0-9 finish in 2018, has turned the program around in his two short years with the team. The high-powered offense leads 8M-D2 with 521 points scored.
Hanover will look to slow down the Lancer attack on Friday, after a 52-6 victory over Axtell. The Wildcat defense is second in the division with 56 points surrendered all season.
Hanover has not lost to a non-Axtell team since 2015 state championship loss to Spearville.

Lebo (10-0) @ Frankfort (6-1)
Lebo finds their way to their first Sectional appearance since 2010, after a 56-8 victory over Waverly. It is the Wolves’ fourth trip to in school history.
Senior Devan McEwen continued his fine season with accounting for six touchdowns in the victory. The versitiale quarterback leads the team with 36 total touchdowns. Junior Kyle Reese presents a powerful 1-2 punch for Coach Brian Hadley’s offense. Reese has rushed for 572 yards and 13 scores to go along with 428 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns.
Frankfort defeated Beloit St. Johns-Tipton on Friday by the tune of 54-43. Gavin Cornelison finished with 151 yards through the air along with two passing touchdowns. He also added 132 yards via the rushing attack, also with two scores.
Second meeting all time between the two schools. Both teams met in the 2009 playoffs with Frankfort winning 46-44, the school’s last round of eight appearance.
