Independence head coach Kristi Speicher said, “Girls came out slow against Coffeyville but played much much better against Pittsburg.  I have seen that level of play 2 times now and I would like to see it every time we hit the court.  It was a great night.”

LCHS head coach Heather Wilson said, “I felt we came to play tonight and really struck first blows instead of waiting for an error by the other team. Anna Dean really hadone heck of a night with 21 total kills, and 9 aces. We seemed to get her the ball all over.  In general, we were a much more composed team, especially in serve receive. I am proud of the girls tonight.”
