Eureka’s Brannan Lowe will attempt to claim the State 1st Place Media in Class 3-2-1A at the 152lbs. Weight Class later today. Lowe and 3 of his teammates remain in the running at the Class 3-2-1A State tournament Saturday. Lowe is the lone Eastern Kansas Sports coverage area student-athlete vying for a State Championship.

Lowe’s Friday began with a pinfall at 2:00 in his match against STFR Jayce Nider. Lowe worked quicker in his quarterfinal, with a pinfall at 1:48 over Trisan Rathbone. Hoxie’s Aidan Baalman gave Lowe the biggest challenge, as Lowe advanced to the Championship match with a 12-5 decision.
