FORT SCOTT – The Chanute girls golf team, led by Jerlyn Kustanborter, claimed the 2019 Fort Scott Regional title on Monday afternoon.
The day was described as “started off cool, but wow what a nice day at the finish”. The Blue Comets were led by Kustanborter’s score of 90. Fort Scott’s Lauren Madison claimed the overall individual title with an 85. Fort Scott finished 2nd to Chanute with a score of 462.
The Class 4A Girls Golf State Tournament will be held on October 21st and 22nd. For more information, click here.
